“We are pleased to continue our cooperation with emsys VPP. Until now, emsys VPP has provided wind farm generation forecasting and Virtual Power Plant services. Their solutions have helped to produce more accurate forecasts, reducing Ignitis' imbalance costs. Given the rapid growth of renewable energy generation in Lithuania, we have expanded the range of services procured to include forecasting services for both solar parks and prosumers”, says Dovilė Morkvėnaitė, Head of Electricity Wholesale Department at Ignitis.
“Ignitis can continue to rely on our extensive experience in supporting international power utilities and aggregators as their renewable energy portfolios grow”, comments Dr. Ulrich Focken, Managing Director of emsys VPP and energy & meteo systems.
