Direct Marketers' Day

Inspired by the good response to last year's meeting, emsys VPP again invited to the "Direct Marketers' Day" at the company's headquarters in Oldenburg. Around seventy employees from power traders of renewable energies gathered for two days to exchange views on current developments in direct marketing.

While CEO Matthias Lange presented, among other things, new technologies in forecasting, such as the use of skycams or machine learning, the BDEW Redispatch Taskforce and Eike Arndt gave presentations on national and international requirements of Redispatch 2.0.

A special focus this year was on the joint discussion of current trends and business cases in wholesale trading of renewable power and operating reserve markets. This also included the need for optimisation and the derivation of solutions for the further development of the Virtual Power Plant of emsys VPP, among other things.

The warm weather, a cocktail mobile in the evening and the right sound completed the event.
