10 years of trading electricity from renewable energies

emsys VPP took this anniversary of the introduction of the market premium model as an opportunity to invite long-standing customers and companions from the energy industry to a workshop and get-together in our green company oasis in Oldenburg.

In presentations, around 40 power traders of renewable energies learned about the challenges of grid operators in the area of redispatch 2.0 which emsys is dealing with and where the focus lies for power traders. In addition, special attention was paid to the current topic of IT security.

The main objective of the event was face-to-face customer dialog and the inclusion of future ideas with regard to the trading of renewable energies, from balancing power to flexibilities. How our IT solutions can be further optimized against the backdrop of advancing developments in the energy market was a significant topic also later continued to be lively discussed during the following barbecue.
